Doc Morrill
Appearing on the Acoustic stage
at 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM on Sunday July 24th, 2005
Doc Morrill has been a fixture in country music in the state of Maine for fifty-three years. He has entertained on all three Bangor television stations.with The Shorty Thomas Country Caravan Show & The Curly O'Brien Show. In his fifty-three years in show business he has shared the stage with such local artists as Dick Curless, Hal Lone Pine, Gene and such Nashville artists as Hank Williams Jr., Carl Smith, Faron Young, and Lefty Frizzell. For the past nineteen years he has been a disc jockey at WMHB in Waterville and for the last five years at our own WERU.
